About Us

SonaPERT, established in 2007, is a unit of Sona College of Technology located in the steel city, Salem in Tamilnadu. Dr.S.Padma, Professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the head of the SonaPERT. It was inaugurated by our Former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in the august presence of the Chairman Sri C.Valliappa, the Secretary Sri A.Dhirajlal, the Principal Dr. C.V. Koushik (i/c). The main focus of SonaPERT is to provide innovative and efficient solutions to electrical utilities and customers in the field of periodic maintenance and testing of electrical assets.
